Jimmy Uso immediately addressed his brother Jey as the reunion seems more inevitable than ever. Jimmy was then interrupted by a marathon entrance from Roman Reigns but the crowd ate it up.
Half of this opening segment was spent on chants and pops. It was mostly aura and not a lot of talking and there’s nothing wrong with that because it tells you how hot the product is.
Reigns teased a Paul Heyman return by mentioning he’s “not a wiseman, he’s a Tribal Chief.” But for somebody who’s not a wiseman, boy did he cut a spirited promo putting over the O.G. Bloodline.

Opening Segment Grade: A-
LA Knight Def. Carmelo Hayes
LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes started out at 100 mph. Then Andrade showed up and was allowed to walk through the crowd and watch as a spectator. This feels like it’s leading to a Triple Threat match. As great as Carmelo vs. Andrade has been, hopefully this isn’t a Best of 7 Triple Threat series.
LA Knight won clean, but the announcers really focused on how Andrade’s presence was the reason Carmelo Hayes lost this match.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes came face-to-face as Cody thanked Jimmy Uso. Jimmy told Cody not to expect anymore favors.

I have a fleeting feeling that Carmelo and Andrade may team up as heels.
Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson cut a great promo during a vignette promoting their Black Girl Magic Match against Bianca and Jade.

Bianca Belair And Jade Cargill Def. Lash Legend And Jakara Jackson
Prior to this match, Kevin Owens made an unpanned appearance to justify his shocking heel turn. Kevin Owens interrupting a Black Girl Magic Tag Team Match has reverse Kanye Energy. Instead of “I’ma let you finish,” KO might as well have been like “I intend on allowing you to conclude…”
Owens brawled with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes as security flooded the arena. It was a wild scene and accomplished its goal in seeming like a real fight.
Moments before this match, Bianca and Jade were confronted by Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Even after being in an entirely different outfit, and clearly showering, Chelsea still (kayfabe) smells bad.
Moments into this match, Lash Legend hit a fireman’s carry slam on Bianca Belair and it seemed like this was going to be a squash. Bianca kicked out at the final second.
This was a wild, short match with multiple bicycle kicks and multiple impressive double-team moves. Bianca and Jade won with their wheelbarrow double-team finish.

Naomi called out Nia Jax for not being able to win without her sidekick. Jax came back by saying it took two people to pin her.
Nia Jax demanded Nick Aldis send out a referee so she could “annihilate Naomi.” Aldis obliged, but Liv Morgan (feat. Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio) interrupted the segment ahead of the Liv vs. Nia Champion vs. Champion match in Saudi Arabia.
Both Nia Jax and Liv Morgan are uber-heels, so it’ll make for an awkward Heel vs. Heel match. Thankfully, they’ll be in Saudi Arabia in front of a paid crowd which isn’t as savvy about the storylines.
Raquel Rodriguez interfered, causing Morgan to strike Jax with her WWE Women’s World Championship. This led to a powerbomb/rollup by Naomi for the win. This built tension between the two world champions while building up Naomi as a No. 1 Contender. In yet another surprise appearance, Rhea Ripley hit the ring to attack Liv Morgan.
In the parking lot, Kevin Owens ambushed Randy Orton as WWE continues to hammer his heel turn home.
Naomi vs. Nia Jax Grade: B-
Solo Sikoa Def. Jimmy Uso
WWE spent a lot of time promoting the music video for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s Hell in a Cell Match.
This feels like a match that Solo Sikoa should either win outright or lose by DQ because he’s been taking a lot of high-profile losses lately and the Heel Bloodline needs its heat back.
Jimmy and Solo went to war on each other and laid in their spots, which made me remember that they’re brothers and the stiffest matches are always between brothers and/or friends.
Jimmy Uso went very long after months of not wrestling, so understandably he started to blow up a bit toward the end.
After interference from The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa won this match with a Samoan Spike. Roman Reigns saved the day, setting up a dramatic showdown and between the OTC and Solo. Jacob Fatu broke it up and laid out both Roman and Jimmy. Reigns was laid out with a Samoan Spike by Solo as SmackDown went off the air.

Most Americans don’t have much in faith in our political institutions these days and think the country is going in the wrong direction. In such frustrating and anxious times, proposals proliferate to seriously amend or even scrap the Constitution or to legislate drastic changes, such as expanding the number of Supreme Court justices who would be compliant with the party in power.
John Kerry—former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and presidential candidate—sharply raised eyebrows a few days ago when he declared that the First Amendment “stands as a major block to just, you know, hammer [undesirable websites] out of existence…. Democracies around the world now are struggling with the absence of a sort of truth arbiter, and there’s no one who defines what facts really are.”
Good Lord! Truth arbiter? Our Founders must be rolling in their graves.
