WWE NXT Star Wants To Face John Cena “Before He Retires & Leaves Us Alone”
A top star in WWE NXT has listed a number of opponents he would like to face on the main roster while also adding an extra dig at John Cena.
While the 16-time World Champion is likely at the top of many star’s lists of dream matches, the fact that he will be retiring at the end of next year means that many will be campaigning and hoping that they will get to stand across the ring from the Hollywood star before all is said and done.
With many first-time-ever matches on the table, former North American Champion Oba Femi would like to be in consideration for one of the spots.
While speaking with Going Ringside, Femi listed a number of main roster stars on his dream match list, which solely contained one current and 3 former World Champions:

Another Star Also Pitches Match With John Cena
Ever since Cena officially announced his retirement back at Money in the Bank, just about every name from WWE has spoken about Cena’s influence and how they would love to have a match with the 16-time World Champion. During a recent interview, a current WWE star explained why they would be the perfect fit for a John Cena match.
Cena is next expected to appear on the first episode of Raw on Netflix in early 2025. Cena has previously stated that he will be making 36 appearances in 2025 but it is unknown how many of these will be televised or will see him compete in a match.
