NFL star Travis Kelce sang the praises of girlfriend Taylor Swift — and their recent time in Australia — in the latest episode of his podcast “New Heights,” calling her “the biggest and the best thing possible.”
Discussing how much fun Travis had on his late-February trip to visit Taylor in Sydney while she was stationed there for the Eras Tour, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, asked, “What the hell is your life doing right now?”
Travis acknowledged they’d been hounded by paparazzi at every stage of their two days in Sydney together, saying, “There were full-on helicopters just flying around. They helicoptered us! Well, not us, Taylor. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible.”
The frenzied press attention didn’t affect the couple’s fun when they visited the Sydney Zoo and spent time with a bunch of exotic animals. Travis told his brother the couple fed koalas, dingos, capybaras, and red pandas. He also got the chance to pet a rhino: “That thing was rock solid, jumping around, real playful.”
He said they spotted a tiger hanging out in a treehouse, and the couple experienced a somewhat alarming moment as a lion roared while Taylor was taking a photo of it from afar. “We saw a lion close up. Dude, when you hear that … cause Taylor took the picture, [roar] you’re just like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”
Travis also complimented Taylor’s performance at her Sydney stop, noting, “The Sydney [show] did not disappoint.”
They especially enjoyed hanging out in Sydney because the Australian crowds tend to be rowdy, he explained to his brother. “Taylor’s very fond of performing in Australia because of the crowds … and how into it they get,” Travis explained. They “like to have a good time,” he said, continuing, “I [also] like to have a good time.”
