Unhappy birthday! Blake Lively turns 37 at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island mansion as her career implodes over It Ends With Us drama
Blake Lively celebrated her 37th birthday at 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift’s $17M Rhode Island estate on Sunday amid a fury of backlash over her ‘tone deaf’ It Ends with Us press tour.
The LA-born beauty was joined at the 11K-square-foot property by her husband Ryan Reynolds.
The showbiz couple brought along their three daughters – James, 9; Inez, 7; and Betty, 4 – and one 18-month-old son Olin.
Blake was likely thrilled to spend quality time with the 34-year-old pop star, who was spotted on a balcony with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and three-year-old daughter Sterling Mahomes.
Taylor – who doesn’t resume her Eras Tour until October – purchased the eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom Colonial-style mansion aka ‘High Watch’ with cash back in 2013, and it features an expansive backyard, swimming pool, and private beach.
Lively (born Brown) also got to hang out with 12-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper and his seven-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with ex-fiancée Irina Shayk, but he doesn’t appear to have invited new girlfriend Gigi Hadid along for the seaside fun.
Also spotted at Swift’s house this weekend were Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes, Travis’ big brother Jason Kelce, and his wife Kylie Kelce – according to TMZ.
The Gossip Girl alum did not appear to have any birthday greetings from her famous friends – not even her loyal Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants castmates – on social media as of press time.
One look at the comments of Blake’s most recent Instagram post on August 8 reveals the substantial outrage fans have felt over her treatment of journalists, sarcastically answering questions about domestic violence in her movie, and floral-filled Barbie-style promotion directly tied to her haircare and booze brands.
‘Blake is definitely saddened by the hate she is getting and is trying not to let it affect her but it is,’ an insider told DailyMail.com on Saturday.
‘She thought this was her moment to shine but is now looking at it like the end of her career. She’s fearing no one will want to work with her after this.
‘She really wants to continue producing and directing and acting but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future.’
Lively portrays Lily Bloom, a Boston woman torn between loving an abusive neurosurgeon or her high school sweetheart, in Sony Pictures’ dismally-reviewed big-screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel which has amassed $242.6M at the global box office.
