Travis Kelce drops major hint over long-term goals with Taylor Swift after calling their relationship ‘special’
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star relationship has taken the entertainment world by storm and he expressed in an interview before the Super Bowl that he believes what he has with Swift is “special.”
Kelce did a sat down interview on February 10 with longtime NFL reporter Laura Okmin ahead of their Super Bowl victory and shared his thoughts on his dynamic with one of the world’s biggest stars.
During the interview, he expressed that he was “very aware” that his relationship with Swift had drawn a ton of attention to the NFL, with a record number of female fans gravitating to football.
“I know what me and Taylor have is special, so I get [the interest].”
“I’m very aware, and obviously, this is mostly because Taylor’s in my life now, and we got her [to be] part of Chiefs Kingdom.
“And sure enough, that brought an entire entourage of human beings who just love to support her and love to support everything that she’s about,” Kelce said.
The three-time Super Bowl-winning pass catcher also reflected on his personal life and problems since they started dating.
“Well, the biggest thing for me is … I never want the people in the building to ever have the idea that I’m not focused on the game.
“I’m not focused on being my best at football.
Kelce stopped by the Pat McAfee show during the playoffs and explained he had to recenter his focus and ensure that everyone in the organization knew his personal life wouldn’t impact him while playing football.
“I had to kind of reel it back because everybody in this building knows my intentions, man. Football is my main focus right now.”
The Chiefs would go on to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling 25-22 overtime victory to win their second consecutive championship.
Kelce caught nine passes for 93 yards as Swift watched in attendance from her suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
