The highly anticipated coming-of-age biopic about ’70s teen band The Runaways takes two well-known Hollywood faces and transforms them into the two leads of a rock group who paved the way for girl bands of the future. Kristen Stewart steps into the shaggy-haired shoes of Joan Jett while Dakota Fanning takes on the role of Cherrie Currie. Drama unfolds as the rebellious L.A. rockers deal with their growing popularity, evolving bad girl image and rocky relationship. When you have teenagers with guitars, there’s always going to be drama.
