Tekashi 6ix9ine wanted on international warrant for assaulting two music producers
The Court of Appeals of the Judicial District of La Vega has issued an international arrest warrant for Daniel Hernandez, better known as Tekashi 6ix9ine.
He is accused of assaulting two producers in October 2023 and the Dominican Republic’s Public Ministry executed an arrest warrant against Tekashi following the alleged assault.
“This court issues an arrest warrant against the accused and the execution of the guarantee of 500,000 Dominican pesos,” read the statement.
The incident allegedly involved Tekashi at a recording studio in La Vega in the early hours of 15 October.
The rapper and his crew allegedly assaulted two music producers, among them Nelson Alfonso Hilario Garcia, after they confronted his girlfriend, Yailin.
“He grabbed my two producers, trashed my studio, through no fault of their own, without knowing him,” producer Diamond La Mafia told Diario Libre at the time.
“He also threatened me by video call to fight, saying he was armed.”
Hilario Garcia received a heavy blow to the head and face, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said.
Diamond La Mafia said at the time that Tekashi was jealous of his relationship with Yailin.
