Swifties Defend Woman Caught Using Shazam During Taylor Swift Eras Tour Concert

As fans of Taylor Swift know all too well, getting their hands on a ticket to her wildly popular Eras Tour is no easy feat. From Ticketmaster crashing, to exorbitant resale ticket prices and the sheer amount of Swifties clamoring to attend, not everyone can swing it—which is why fans defending a woman caught using Shazam during one of Swift’s shows is just so wholesome.

Recently, a video showing an Eras Tour concert-goer using the music-identifying app went viral on TikTok. In the clip, a woman unsuccessfully used Shazam to learn the title of her song “Champagne Problems” during the Evermore era. “Shazam problems😔🥂🍂🍂,” the TikTok user captioned their post.

Some commenters lamented that someone who didn’t know the lyrics to this fan-favorite track snagged tickets over them.

One person wrote, “I lost a ticket to THAT?” while another shared, “The fact that these people got tickets 💀.”

However, an overwhelming number of TikTok users defended the woman and celebrated watching her join the ranks of Swifties.

One person commented, “I actually love this. Someone hearing champagne problems for the first time, loving it, and needing to know the name of it.”

Another fan wrote, “Imagine being her. Imagine her experience of falling in love with this masterpiece live for the first time 😭😭 what a truly blessed experience she has
Meanwhile, someone else pointed out, “This is actually so sweet 🙁 iIm sure she came with her daughter or someone and realised just how beautiful taylor’s lyricism is :.).”

Another TikTok user agreed, writing, “It looks like a mom with their kid…. If ur made that ‘she got tickets and u didn’t’. Go touch grass.”

Others called out the negative commenters, with one person writing, “To the people who’s saying ‘I lost a ticket to that?!’ needs to get out. That’s literally a sweet old lady.”

Someone else pointed out, “Last time I checked Taylor had released 243 songs. I think it’s OK not to know them all.”

Yet another TikTok user summed it up perfectly, writing, “I think going to concerts of artists you’re not too familiar with to fall in love w their work is important. it’ no exclusive to die hard fans.”
