After Winning Four New Olympic Medals in Paris, Simone Biles Talks About Expanding Her Family with Jonathan Owens
She may be the most decorated gymnast of all time, but she has another title in mind for her: mother.
The 27-year-old, who cemented her place in gymnastics history with a stellar performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, recently revealed that she and husband Jonathan Owens are “absolutely” hoping to expand their family in the future.
“Yeah, Jonathan and I always talk about kids,” Biles told Hoda Kotb on Today on August 6. “He would have had them yesterday if he could. Obviously we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family, but yeah, it’s definitely in our future.”
Biles and the Chicago Bears player are set to marry in 2023 after meeting on a dating app. And the NFL star will be in the stands cheering her on in Paris as he gets special permission to leave training camp to support his wife at the Olympics.
“He’s so excited,” Biles said. “He absolutely loves it and obviously he loves going to see me play. He’s still scoring. It means a lot to him because he’s seen the amount of time I put in, so to actually see it firsthand. He was like, ‘Wow, this is awesome.’”
