After meeting during the pandemic in March 2020 on the dating app Raya, the most decorated American gymnast in history and NFL safety said their “I dos” in a low-key courthouse ceremony, followed by a luxurious destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on May 6.
Biles first teased the news of their big day on Instagram on April 14, sharing a photo alongside Owens of the two holding a marriage license.
“Almost time to say ‘I do,’ ” she captioned the post.
A week later, the Olympian and her sweetheart revealed the exciting news on Instagram with a romantic set of images of her and Owens on their wedding day, writing, “I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍.”
