Prince Harry ‘won’t be deported’ if Joe Biden wins 2024 US election

Prince Harry will not be deported from the US if President Joe Biden remains in office after this year’s US election, the US ambassador to the UK has said.

Donald Trump has previously hinted that the Duke of Sussex could be deported if he is elected back into the White House later this year.

This comes as the Heritage Foundation challenges the US government in court, saying Harry may have lied about previous drug use on his application.

US Ambassador Jane Hartley has told Sky News: “It’s not gonna happen in the Biden administration.”

Harry admitted in his memoir that he had previously taken cocaine, cannabis and magic mushrooms

The Heritage Foundation wants Harry’s visa application to be made public, claiming that they are of “immense public interest” and show he “lied.

In February, Donald Trump told Daily Express US that he “will not protect” Harry.

He said: “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me

Trump also told GB News’ Nigel Farage last week: “We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.”

The Department for Homeland Security has reportedly said it cannot reveal whether his visa application mentioned his drug use.

“The mere acknowledgment of these records would constitute an unwarranted invasion of Prince Harry’s privacy.

“The records are particularly sensitive because releasing them, even in part, would reveal Prince Harry’s status in the United States, which Prince Harry has not disclosed

Courts consistently hold that a person’s visa or immigration status is private, personal information exempt from disclosure.”

Harry was also recently asked if he was planning on getting US citizenship.

He told Good Morning America: “The American citizenship is a thought that has crossed my mind but certainly not something that’s a high priority for me right now.”

In court, Harry’s lawyer defended his comments regarding drug use, saying they could have been made to sell more copies of his book.
