Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘discussing’ second book but with one key difference

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be talking about a second book with a friendlier tone, according to a Royal Family expert.

The Duke of Sussex published his shocking memoir ‘Spare’ in January 2023, and it quickly became the fastest-selling non-fiction book in UK history. It sold over 400,000 copies in just one day in the UK.

There’s been talk Harry might write a second book after he signed a big money deal with Penguin publishers in 2022, hinting at more releases.

He also previously hinted at a follow-up by saying he had cut more than 400 pages from the original Spare manuscript.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn believes Harry and Meghan have spoken about a second book. But it wouldn’t have shocking claims like his first book did, as the couple reportedly want to mend bridges with the Royal Family.

Beyond writing another book, Harry is very unlikely to come up with his own commercial project. You only have to look at him in his various interviews to see that he probably just doesn’t have the drive or the ability.

“It’s the result of growing up in a world where other people do everything for you,” Quinn explained.

After Spare was released, critics claimed the memoir missed out on important parts of Harry’s life, such as his decision to step down from the Royal Family with his wife Meghan, as well as their relocation to the US.

It was rumoured the 39-year-old had omitted content from his book to have material for a sequel, but royal author Ingrid Seward thinks the Duke of Sussex will leave the memoir writing to his wife.

“I can’t see that Harry’s up for writing another book. I would think the other book, the real corker, would be Meghan
