Prince George’s godfather sends out wedding invites where Harry and William could reunite
Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster and Prince George’s godfather has sent out invitations to guests for his upcoming wedding this summer, it has been reported.
The Duke of Westminster is set to marry his long-term girlfriend Olivia Henson on June 7 during a lavish ceremony at Chester Cathedral.
Prince George could have a starring role during the wedding and attend as a page boy, the Mail reports, given that he is the duke’s godchild, however, the attendance of the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as the Duke of Sussex, remains in question.
The Princess of Wales announced last Friday she has been diagnosed with cancer, following her “major abdominal surgery” back in January and is now going through preventative chemotherapy for it.
It is unclear whether she will be well enough to attend the glitzy wedding in June.
If he does, it will be the first time the two feuding brothers meet since their father, King Charles’s Coronation last May.
“Sources report that Grosvenor, 33, is staying neutral, maintaining a good relationship with both, leaving it up to them to resolve their family drama,” commentator Ephraim Hardcastle wrote
