As we know, ever since stepping back from their senior working royal roles, Prince Harry and Meghan have been tirelessly hustling to brand build on a global scale. From hitting the speaker circuit and signing megadeals with Netflix and Spotify, their goals seem focused on lucrative commercial ventures over charity work. However, it seems some countries aren’t keen to play nice with their commercial agenda.
Sources in Pakistan’s foreign office have now spilled the explosive tea – Harry and Meghan privately emailed the government over six months ago inquiring about a potential official visit sometime in 2023. Though couched in flowery language of strengthening cultural ties, insiders say the real motive was using Pakistan as a publicity backdrop to promote deals and social impact projects.
However, unlike the warm receptions usually given to real working royals like William and Kate, Pakistan has been completely unresponsive to the Sussex’ queries. No congratulatory reply nor invitation has been forthcoming, leaving multiple follow up emails from Meghan and Harry’s team strangely unanswered too!
