Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan met at a frat party in 2003 when they were both attending Harvard. They met in line in a strange place – waiting for the bathroom. Priscilla admits when she first met him she thought he was “a little nerdy” but he won her over and they started dating. Soon after, Mark made another major decision in his life; he dropped out to run his company then titled- The Facebook. Despite the distance and Mark’s inherent workaholic attitude, Priscilla always stood by him. They fell in love when Zuckerberg was just a college student, and they are still in love today when he has become a multi-billionaire. Priscilla who specializes in paediatrics, was the one who inspired Zuckerberg to promote organ donation on Facebook. And yes, she was also one of the first people to join Facebook (February 5th, 2005). They were so in love that when when Mark Zuckerberg moved to California, Priscilla Chan moved there as well and became a medical student at the University of California. When it comes to their relationship, Priscilla does not let the power go to her man’s head. In their dating days, it was reported that she had laid out strict rules for Mark; a minimum of 100 minutes of alone time (definitely not at Facebook) and one date night every week topped that list. When the couple decided to move in together, Mark made the announcement using his very own creation, Facebook, posting, “Priscilla Chan is moving in this weekend.” The couple got married on May 19th, 2012 and now have three daughters; Maxima, August and Aurelia. In his most recent display of affection, Mark commissioned a statue of Priscilla to express his love in the way of the ancient Romans. “Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife,” Zuckerberg captioned on his post of the statue in a garden.
