LIVEKing Charles LIVE: Trooping the Colour plans updated after monarch’s positive announcement
Friday night’s positive update from Buckingham Palace has seemingly confirmed King Charles’ attendance at this year’s Trooping the Colour.
Millions of Brits will be sighing with relief as it is revealed the King’s progress in the fight against cancer means he will return to “public facing duties”.
Charles has been receiving care as an outpatient since early February after it was revealed he had been diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer – and had taken a break from public-facing duties. However, sources stressed that despite the welcome news he is returning to public-facing duties, the King will continue to be treated for the disease.
To mark the promising development, Buckingham Palace said Charles and Camilla will visit a cancer treatment centre on Tuesday to meet medical specialists and patients. In a statement, the palace said: “His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis.
“To help mark this milestone, The King and Queen will make a joint visit to a cancer treatment centre next Tuesday, where they will meet medical specialists and patients. This visit will be the first in a number of external engagements His Majesty will undertake in the weeks ahead.”
Meghan Markle was torn to sheds online after delivering a basket of “garbage” strawberry jam with “wilted” lemons to Kris Jenner from her newly launched lifestyle brand.
This week the Duchess of Sussex sent out sweet baskets to her celebrity friends filled with her newest American Riviera Orchard jam. Kris was one of just 50 people who were chosen to test out Meghan’s new product and was gifted the jam in a wicker basket filled with the new fruity spread, multiple lemons, plants, and a handwritten letter.
