“We’ll let the court record speak for itself,” the joint statement read.
In August, law enforcement officers claimed that Lil Baby was captured on film passing a gun at Encore, a nightclub in Las Vegas. After an investigation, Lil Baby was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit in Nevada.
Although he had a permit to carry the weapon, Nevada does not recognize Carry Concealed Weapon permits from Georgia.
According to reports Lil Baby was in Las Vegas to celebrate Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden’s birthday.
At the time of his arrest, Lil Baby vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
“To be clear, Dominique Jones [Lil Baby] has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” Lil Baby said in a statement from his attorneys. “On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
With the case behind him, Lil Baby can put all of his energy back into his music. Recently, he was the executive producer on the new Tay B album, You’re Welcome. Additionally, he will perform at the Don’t Fall In Love Fest in November.
The festival will be held in San Bernardino, California featuring live sets from Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, Too Short, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and more.
