King Charles: Harry and Meghan ‘morphing back into royals’ as Charles blasts Putin
As King Charles faces cancer treatment, the decision to not allow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be ‘half in, half out royals was “quite harsh” and a “bit hasty”, it has been said
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly ‘morphing back into royals’ thanks to their latest rebrand and public appearances, royal commentators claim.
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly willing to return to the Royal Family on a temporary basis while King Charles receives treatment for his cancer. Harry has said he plans to return to the UK after paying a brief visit to his father earlier this month.
But the Prince of Wales is believed to have advised his father not to allow Harry’s return. Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “I’ve spoken to a close friend of Charles who believes that even if the king wanted to accept Harry’s offer – which he does not – he is not going to do it because William is appalled at the idea: ‘To say that Harry and William are not on speaking terms is to underestimate the difficulty – daggers drawn would be a better description’.”
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is said to also be “absolutely against” the idea of Harry returning because there is too much “bad blood”. Mr Quinn said: “Harry does miss being a working royal – being a royal is the only thing he is trained to do and he is getting very bored in California. He knows that to retain his value and the interest of the world he is better off not being a retired royal so offering to come back to help out at least reminds the world who and what he is.”
