Donna Kelce is ready to cheer on the Chiefs!
The beloved mother of Jason and Travis Kelce helped Kansas City kick off a new NFL season at the team’s official kickoff pregame show, the World’s Largest Tailgate: Tailgate Games. The event was held on Thursday, Sept. 4 prior to the Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
Donna arrived at the tailgate red carpet sporting a custom “Kelce” denim jacket — complete with Travis’s no. 87 embroidered on the front in Chiefs’ signature yellow and red colors — and a black Chiefs baseball hat.
The mother of two paired her look with red sneakers and got in the spirit on the red carpet with a couple of pom-poms ahead of the team’s home opener.
The official pregame show was streaming on www.ChiefsLive.com and featured special appearances by Chiefs players, podcasters Lucas Brody and Nelson Vergara, YouTube star Funny Marco, Chiefs Hall of Fame wide receiver Dante Hall and others as the team celebrates Kansas City’s loyal fanbase with the epic tailgate party
During the stream, Donna and Saturday Night Live star Heidi Gardner made friendship bracelets — a nod to Taylor Swift — using the Chiefs colors.
Participants were competing in a lineup of exciting games during the tailgate, including a BBQ sauce relay race, a cheeseburger stacking challenge and more Kansas City-themed competitions.
Other fun activities during the Chiefs’ World’s Largest Tailgate included team trivia challenges and pre-recorded Q&A with players from the team.
Donna became a household name among football fans when Jason and Travis made history as the first brothers to face off in a Super Bowl in 2023. The game was dubbed the “Kelce Bowl” and Donna sported her iconic split jersey to represent both of her sons.
This season, however, Donna will only have one son’s games to attend after elder son Jason, 36, announced his retirement
