Dani Dyer has given her new hubby Jarrod Bowen a right telling-off after discovering his pre-wedding antics. The Love Island star tied the knot with the West Ham United skipper in a lavish ceremony at the posh Langley Hotel in Iver, Buckinghamshire, on May 31.

But Dani was less than impressed to learn that Jarrod and his mates had stayed up late playing PlayStation the night before they said ‘I do’.

Spilling the beans to her dad Danny Dyer on their podcast Live and Let Dyers, Dani expressed her disbelief that Jarrod chose gaming over spending his last single night with her.

“He said he ain’t staying with me the night before, he went, ‘No, I don’t want to stay with you.’”.

The cheeky lads even brought their consoles to the hotel, much to Dani’s dismay. “They were all taking, him and their mates, their PlayStations to the hotel,” she disclosed.

“I was like, ‘You’re all a bunch of d****. Why are you all excited over playing PlayStation when you’re going to be a husband! ?’” Dani vented, reports the Mirror.

Despite becoming a married man, the 28 year old England striker stood firm on his love for gaming. “He went, ‘Yeah, that don’t change nothing, I’m still playing.’” Dani recounted.

Even after exchanging vows, Jarrod couldn’t wait to get back to his beloved PlayStation. Dani recalled: “Then he said to me, ‘What are we doing on the Sunday after the wedding?’”.

Expecting a relaxed post-wedding day, Dani replied: “I said, ‘I don’t know, we’ll probably just be hanging, like, we’ll come home’.

“He went, ‘Oh, no, I just didn’t know if I could play football champs on the Sunday.’

“I went, ‘Yeah play football champs, that’s fine Jarrod, absolutely,’” Dani quipped sarcastically.

Jarrod previously disclosed that his gaming habit is what grinds Dani’s gears the most.

“My girlfriend hates it. She calls me a little kid when I have my headset on and I’m talking to my friends,” he said.

“But I tell her that it brings me enjoyment and it’s my happy place. It’s a nice way to switch off.”

Dani and Jarrod, who popped the question in July 2024 amidst the stunning backdrop of Ibiza after enjoying three years together, have since become husband and wife in an intimate ceremony attended by their nearest and dearest.

Their twin daughters, two year olds Summer and Star, assumed the adorable role of flower girls, while Dani’s four year old son Santiago – shared with former partner Sammy Kimmence, 29 – along with her 11 year old brother Arty took on the role of page boys.

Dani dazzled guests and her groom as she walked down the aisle in an exquisite off-the-shoulder gown worth a cool £10,000, crafted by none other than bridal couture maestro Suzanne Neville.

An emotional Jarrod, adorned in a dapper three-piece black suit, was visibly moved as former EastEnders star Danny Dyer escorted his daughter towards the altar.

The lovebirds sealed their commitment with a kiss surrounded by elegant white floral decor.

Dani, alongside a highlight reel from her and Jarrod’s marital celebrations on Instagram, gushed: “The best day of my entire life and a day that I will want to re-live forever.”
