Anne Hathaway apologized for her “cringe” interview with reporter Kjersti Flaa after the reporter shared a clip of their 2012 conversation to TikTok.
Flaa — who, in August, revealed she almost quit journalism altogether after a “nightmare” interview with Blake Lively — told her TikTok followers that a rep for the “Devil Wears Prada” star reached out to her via email with an apology message from the actress one day after she shared the video.
“I have to say, I was pretty shocked. I had not expected her to reach out to me at all. I thought she was never going to even see that video, but she did and she did something pretty amazing,” Flaa said, revealing that Hathaway sent her a “long email” explaining what she was going through at the time and apologizing “for giving [Flaa] an awful interview.”
