Actress Asin, known for her memorable roles in Bollywood hits like Ghajini, Ready, and Housefull 2, married entrepreneur Rahul Sharma in January 2016. The following year, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Arin Sharma, on October 24, 2017. Among those eager to meet the newborn was Akshay Kumar, who even arranged for a plane to be on standby, ready to fly to Kochi where Arin was born.
In a recent conversation with Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on his JioCinema talk show, Dhawan Karenge, Akshay Kumar was shown an emotional video featuring Rahul Sharma. In the clip, Rahul shared that on the day their daughter Arin was born, Akshay kept calling for updates, showing how excited he was for the arrival. “He had kept a plane on standby since morning to get there as soon as she was born. Even before my family came, he was the first to come in,” Rahul recounted, emphasizing that it’s a memory he holds close to his heart. He further mentioned that in significant moments of his life, he finds strength knowing Akshay is there, saying, “I get this strength from you,” which moved everyone present.
