Newly Retired Jason Kelce Leaps Onto Flaming Table While Brother Travis Watches and Laughs – See the Ex-Eagle Fly
Jason Kelce is ready to try new things after retiring from the NFL.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center jumped onto a flaming table while his brother Travis laughed in the background as they filmed a hilarious video for their New Heights podcast.
The video, shared on the podcast’s official social media accounts Tuesday, begins with Jason wearing a mask and flame-resistant overalls as he hangs onto the edge of a fire truck.
All right, here we go. I’m Jason Kelce. Welcome to New Heights,” Jason says as he stares at the flaming table before leaping onto it
The table breaks after Jason lands on it, causing him to roll off. After getting up, a firefighter helps extinguish the flames, and Jason gleefully put his hands up in the air.
Jason’s retirement is off to a hot start … literally NEW EPISODE. TOMORROW,” the post’s caption read.
Although it isn’t clear when the video was filmed, it was published only a day after Jason held an emotional press conference to announce his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons.
During the event, he read a 40-minute speech in which he reflected on his journey to the NFL and thanked those who have helped him along the way, including his brother, their parents, Donna and Ed, and his wife, Kylie.
His family was at the conference and were seen tearing up as Jason got candid about some of the most critical moments in his life, including facing Travis in the 2023 Super Bowl.
“I won’t forget falling short to the Chiefs and the conflicted feeling of the immense heartbreak I had selfishly for myself and for my teammates,” Jason said. “And at the same time the amount of pride I had that my brother climbed the mountaintop once again
We have a small family, no cousins, one aunt, one uncle. It was really my brother and I our whole lives. We did almost everything together, competing, fought, laughed, cried and learned from each other,” continued Jason.
He also thanked his brother for making him “stronger, tougher, smarter” and teaching him the “values of cooperation, loyalty, patience and understanding
Jason and Travis attended the Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, where they were the guests of honor. Fans in attendance received a custom Kelce Brothers bobblehead, and Jason was honored with a framed team jersey.
