“Tavia and I have so many great memories of the holidays in Kansas City, so we are honored to ‘flip the switch’ and light up the Plaza on Thanksgiving night to bring in the season,” Hunt said.
The event starts at 5 p.m. Nov. 28 with performances and giveaways on the main stage. Then at 6 p.m. the Plaza Lighting Ceremony officially kicks off.
At 7:05 p.m., Clark and Tavia Hunt will flip the switch, followed by fireworks.
