Celebration of Polish fans for Ronaldo’s goal against home team goes viral
In the 37th minute, Ronaldo scored his second goal for Portugal with a simple tap-in, making it 2-0. He then ran towards a section of Polish fans, waved his fingers in the air, and encouraged them to join his celebration. As Ronaldo performed his signature leap, the crowd enthusiastically joined in, chanting “siuuu” in unison.
While some fans responded sarcastically, most were cheering for the Portuguese captain, with many even mimicking Ronaldo’s hand gestures.
The celebration video quickly attracted millions of views online, receiving positive reactions from fans. Many were surprised by the fact that, despite Poland being down by two goals at the time, the home crowd seemed more focused on celebrating with Ronaldo.
“The loudest cheers came when we celebrated with Ronaldo,” one Polish fan wrote on X. “Even when the crowd cheered for Poland at the national stadium in Warsaw, it wasn’t as loud. This just shows how influential Ronaldo is.”
Before the match, hundreds of Polish fans surrounded Portugal’s team bus as it arrived at Kazimierz Gorski Stadium. When Ronaldo appeared and waved, the crowd erupted in excitement.
