Manchester United Women vs. Tottenham Hotspur Women – prediction, team news, lineups
Man United have experienced a positive start to the 2024-25 season, having recorded three consecutive victories without conceding.
The Red Devils thrashed West Ham United 3-0 in their WSL opener at Old Trafford, before they edged out Everton by a narrow 1-0 scoreline.
They went on to kick off their Women’s League Cup campaign with a win against rivals Liverpool, with Melvine Malard and Rachel Williams getting on the scoresheet in a 2-0 victory.
Marc Skinner’s side have had plenty of time to reflect upon those three victories after last Sunday’s meeting with Chelsea was postponed due to a conflict with the Blues’ Women’s Champions League schedule.
As a result, Man United will be well-rested for their first competitive meeting with Spurs since claiming a commanding 4-0 win in May’s Women’s FA Cup final.
The Red Devils have fared well in top-flight games against Spurs, having won eight and drawn two of their 10 WSL encounters.
