Royal Family ‘calls Prince Harry’s bluff’ as Duke’s blistering claims ‘ignored’
The Royal Family has “called” Prince Harry’s bluff as the Firm continues to “ignore” the Duke of Sussex’s blistering allegations, an expert has claimed.
Ever since the release of his shock memoir Spare in early 2023, the royals have kept quiet on the allegations levelled at their members both in the Duke’s autobiography and in the interviews he did to promote it.
Prince Harry demanded an apology from the Royal Family, especially over the apparent treatment of Meghan Markle during her time as a senior working royal, in order to begin bridging the gap separating his family from the Firm.
However, reports that Prince Harry wants to reconcile with his father King Charles have emerged in recent weeks, despite the Firm not issuing a public apology.
According to the Daily Mail’s royal editor Rebecca English, this likely boils down to the fact family members have “called his bluff” by opting to remain silent.
Speaking about Harry on the latest episode of Palace Confidential, Ms English said: “As regards to the apology, what I think this boils down to is the Royal Family have called his bluff.
