Coco Gauff next confirmed for stacked draw at Porsche Tennis Grand Prix Stuttgart
The American has a poor record at the event, with her best result being a second round performance at last year’s edition. However, Gauff has made vast improvements to her game over the past year, winning the 2024 US Open title and reaching a career-high ranking of World No.3 in the process.
“I am excited to kick off the clay court swing in Stuttgart,” she told the official Porsche website. “I have had a lot of success on the clay and I think Stuttgart provides the perfect week with great hospitality to start the European season. The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is still a tournament I can improve on and I am up for the challenge!”
The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is the first clay-court event for big-name players on tour, with three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber and 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu also signed up to participate at the event.
