The ‘real story’ behind Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s feud with William and Kate
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been involved in an ongoing feud with the Royal Family for quite some time – but tensions with the Prince and Princess of Wales have become more evident in the past year.
After meeting Harry back in July 2016, Meghan was soon introduced to her then-future husband’s family – which included his brother and sister-in-law.
Prior to the tensions developing, Meghan is said to have been wowed after being invited to William and Kate’s former home at Kensington Palace. Harry previously recalled the moment in his bombshell memoir Spare.
After visiting their home, which – according to Harry – took place in June 2018, Meghan was “taken aback” by Kate and William’s apartment – and thought that Harry “deserved more materially” as a member of the Royal Family.
Recalling the visit, Harry wrote: “We walked over one late afternoon. I saw Meg’s eyes widen as we entered their front door, walked past their front sitting room, down their hallway, into their study. ‘Wow’, Meg said several times.”
