During a special Mother’s Day episode of The Martha Stewart podcast, the lifestyle entrepreneur spoke with the mom of Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce about motherhood, fashion, and, naturally, Taylor Swift.
Stewart gushed about ‘beautiful’ Taylor Swift during an open talk with Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, despite being advised that the singer was off bounds in a recent interview.
Stewart said she was “begged” not to mention Taylor Swift during her interview with Donna.
She decided to throw caution to the wind and do it anyway.
“I know I was begged not to mention Taylor Swift, but I just want to say, you always look so great with her in the box when she was at the games with you,” Stewart said, via Pagesix.com.
The cookbook author told Donna Kelce that she’d met Swift before.
Both Donna and Taylor had the chance to get to know each other when the songstress attended various Kansas City Chiefs games during the last season to cheer on Travis.
Swift and Donna appeared to grow close over the season, as they both cheered on Travis at games. Fans suspected there might be some bad blood after Donna appeared on the Today show and stated sitting with Swift at the game was “OK,” but she later admitted she regretted how it came out in an interview for Travis’ WSJ cover.
