Watch: Taylor Swift turned down a $9 million offer from the United Arab Emirates
The story begins in March, when French Montana posted a screenshot of a performance offer from a mysterious person. According to the content of the message, French and an unnamed artist were invited to perform for an attractive price, one million USD for rapper Pop That and 9 million USD for the mysterious singer. Forbes reported Taylor has amassed an estimated fortune of $1.1 billion, based on income from the blockbuster Eras Tour tour, the value of music products and real estate investments. Taylor is also the first artist to become a USD billionaire based solely on music.
From March 2023 to December 2024, Taylor devoted all her energy to a tour across 5 continents. Even though it’s only halfway through, the Eras Tour has already set the record for highest-grossing tour of all time, earning more than a billion dollars.
The next schedule of the Eras Tour is to Paris on May 9. Currently, the beauty spends all her rest time with her boyfriend, football star Travis Kelce – who is also on vacation after winning the 2024 Super Bowl.
The couple is said to be planning to attend the 2024 Coachella music festival (taking place for 2 weeks on April 12-14 and April 19-21) in California, USA, to support singer Lana Del. Rey.
