With Stephen Curry hitting the now historic fadeaway three over two French defenders, he sealed the gold medal for Team USA in Paris. As great as the shot was, it became even more memorable when Steph hit the audience with the ‘Night Night’ celebration as he ran back on defense. Sure enough, his already popular celebration reached a new level of global fame that night. And to make sure that no one profits off it without his knowledge, he has reportedly filed trademark applications in the USA and European Union to claim the phrase.

Well, not the English version of it! But the French one ‘NUIT. NUIT.’ The move was made after the company Fanatics dropped new merchandise with Steph’s face and the phrase printed on it. But ‘Night Night’ is not the only celebration that Steph might be worried about because long before he pulled out that move, he had a few more iconic celebrations in his bag.
